There have been suggestions about temporarily disabling AV and malware (like Malwarebytes) and turning off realtime scanning in Windows 10, when using the Sky Go app. Not an ideal solution, but it does seem to reduce CPU allowing Sky GO and live tv to run a little better without so much stuttering.
That had no effect on any of the high end machines I have that suffered from the stuttering.

But like you say, best to wait for updates to the app. It still needs work to get it working better.
