Two new customer trials - Sky Community
Want to take part in Sky’s exciting trial and beta programmes? You’ve come to the right place!
We have a couple of important Sky Go trials coming up over the next few weeks and we’d really love you to be involved. In return, you’ll get early views of our brand new or updated products and services. All we ask is that you're able to feedback any issues you find to us and complete our product surveys and polls whenever they’re sent out.

Sky Go on Amazon Kindle
Kicking off first is our Sky Go Kindle trial.
We’re delighted to let you know that Sky Go is coming to the Kindle Device for the first time and we’re on the lookout for Kindle owners to take part.
If you have one, click here to complete our registration form. Hurry, we’ve only got a limited number of spaces available for this one.
The trial will run for a couple weeks and the full list of compatible Kindle devices can be found in our registration form.
Sky Go - Download Player
The second trial we’re recruiting for is our Sky Go Download Player trial and we’re looking for anyone with a PC, Laptop or Mac to take part.
The purpose of this trial is to try out our new platform that delivers content to users. The new Download Player has been designed to offer all users greater stability and an all-round seamless experience.
If you’d like to take part in this trial, please complete the registration form as soon as you can by clicking here.
The trial will run for approximately 3-4 weeks and we will be asking for your feedback on downloaded content and installation of the player from the Sky Go website.
Additional Information
- The recruitment phase for each trial is estimated to be open as follows. Sky Go Kindle - around 1 week. Sky Go Download Player - around 2 weeks. Please note we do reserve the right to extend or close the recruitment phase early dependent on demand.
- We will be managing these trials in the online community. If you find any faults feel free to discuss this in the community group however please log the issue with us via our fault report which we will provide to you. This way we can capture all the relevant details.
- Please note that due to circumstances out of our control, some trials may run on for longer than anticipated or become delayed during the trial phase. That’s a benefit of beta trials – you’ll be at the mercy of our development teams!
- Please be aware that each trial will require a Sky Go device allocation slot to be used and we’re unable to provide you with additional slots or changes to take part. The trials are due to start in October providing you with your usual device change to use for that month.
- As you get to use our products and services first, some beta trials are stamped as “Top Secret” and we expect our trusted trialists to treat the products and it’s features, and faults as classified information.

I assume this is for the Kindle Fire tablets or phone and not for the monochrome kindle e-readers?Please note the views and recommendations in my posts are my own and in no way reflect the views of Sky
