Sky have released this statement today on Sky Go and Android Lollipop:
If you want to continue watching on Sky Go and the Sky Movies app until the issue is fixed, we'd recommend that you don't update to Android 5.0 and remain on the existing software until we've resolved the issues.
Sky Help: Using Sky Go on an Android device
It came up as a question in the current Sky Go Android trial and they pointed to this today as part of their answer.

Thanks for cross-posting this.
It is important to realise that the team behind Sky Go are working to resolve the issues.
The advice for the present time is not to upgrade to Lollipop if you intend to watch Sky Go for the present time.
