Sky Go Aspect Ratio

I just started watching Sky Go, never needed it before, and was wondering if there is anyway of changing the aspect ratio to 16:9. Just hate those black bars. On an unrelated topic, I have noticed that when I am streaming my download speed drops from around 14-15Mbs to around 4-5Mbs, is that normal? I expected a slight drop but that is quite substantial.

Sadly this can't be done at present.

I believe that it has been requested several times in the past but I am sure it can be chased again.

You don't say what you are streaming. If a torrent then limit its speed to a quarter of your upload speed. Any more than this and your download speed will be adversely effected as TCP requires a receipt packet to be sent for each data packet received.

Could I ask for some extra information please?

Which channel were you watching and what was the programme/film.

It seems to be working fine on Gold now with the bars on either side of the screen when required.
