      Sky go using asus mircast dongle and tablet

      Hi
      Does anyone know if you can use asus mircast dongle connected to an asus andriod table to view sky go on a TV. i know sky block this via HDMI cables and i cannot get the allcast app to work for sky go. i was just wondoring if it would work before forking out the cash for the dongle, Thanks

      It tried with a Docking Station and it didn't work. My phone sensed that a HDMI cable connected and that must have been enough.

      If you really want a cheap way to pump Sky Go onto a TV then I would suggest a cheap Desktop that is capable of outputting 1080p video. Connect that to the TV and it'll work for hours.

      With a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, such a desktop can be quite flexible.
