I ran the app and could only find busybox but I did not know what to do with it so I left it alone

To be honest I don't understand the apps I found when I searched for hide root so I did not go any further down this road for fear of mucking something up

There are also AOSP roms floating about it seems from a quick Google, but I guess if you aren't happy using an app these will be beyond you for a while. All you can do is find your tablet model's communities online and start learning about flashing sideloading etc or just accept that Sky stuff wont work if you don't want to risk bricking it.

Re: Sky Go for Android Tablets

      coipu,
Just going to say the same, the best way is to flash a AOSP rom that gives full root access, remove all the SU access stuff and the re-flash back with a stock rom. As you are not happy trying that (I don't blame you by the way).

Re: Sky Go for Android Tablets

      Cheers thanks for the replies

I have not had any experience tinkering with android this is my first tablet so as it does everything else I want it to do for now I'm happy to leave it for now, I will continue to Google here and there, I'll also give the app another look over, one day I'll be brave and give it a go.

      thanks again
