The beta app went live around 1ish and is being tested to death by those who have D/L it. There are a lot more tabs able to run the app as Sky said it hoped it would. Also The OSG Tab 10.1 works on the app people are reporting, Lenovo tab, SG Tab3 10.1 run also, the streaming is 10 x better than the 7" tabs where, at long last it's nice to be able to use android tabs on Sky Go.
The only thing is that the 1 change a month is still in force for the testing of the app and that is not going down well with a lot of customers, to me it's crazy but there you go Sky's app sky's rules.

Have had my sky go extra activated this morning to my account, but still had no joining email yet
Wonder if they are adding people in batches.

Check your spam filter. The email will come from a different address than normal.

Have sent my email. Would love to test this because the current android experience just isn't worth paying for.

Re: Sky Go Beta for Tablets

Based upon reports in this thread, the group has already started testing.

I don't know if Sky reached their target figures, especially taking into account a variety of devices, but normally these groups fill up relatively quickly.

Please do not be disappointed if you are turned down now.

      Scubbie,
Have you any idea of the numbers Sky are looking for?? Can't seem to find out anywhere, at present there are 194 testers using the beta app
