This is being worked on by Sky.
Can I suggest that you download and install an alternative browser? Live streaming works perfectly fine with either Chrome or Firefox on my Win 8 Laptop.
I have also been able to install the Sky Go app as well, which works.

sky go works fine with windows 8 using the chrome, firefox and IE (IE desktop version only works, the metro app IE browser does not work with Silverlight) browsers.

There is no app for W8 available form the store, or are you talking about using Bluestacks on W8 to run the google play app as that works.

Sorry, you are correct that there isn't a Sky Go Windows 8 app from the Windows Store.
Perhaps I should of stated that the Sky Go app/program that you can download from the Sky Website for a Windows PC works just fine.

The desktop version of sky go works on a PC and a Mac.
