Are you sure that you don't have another tab or window open in your browser displaying the Sky news website? Do you get the same problem using the laptop's internal speakers? Is it only Sky sports effected or are two audio streams present on other channels?

Tried again 24 hours later with different channels and everything works fine. Yesterday, Sky News was not running in another tab and the sound problem did not occur using the laptop. Strange. In any case, thanks very much for your help.
