But it must have been a reason why they blocked it again and that is what members are up in the air over as what they have said is not right. You are no longer able to ask the same question twice now as they have classed that as spam. So now they will just carryon ignoring now crazy.

      What a carry on!

with due respect to everyone who posts questions on this and all other forums, probably 98% of the posts on this have been asked previously by someone else.

If everyone were to introduce the same rule in Sky's call centres, then I guess that they could all go home as virtually every caller will be asking a question that was asked within the last week, let alone possibly posted on the forum.

I'm sorry, but I find the forum software that Sky uses to be quite difficult to navigate. If you are not subscribed to a thread, then you have to scroll through all the previous posts and re-read them all in order to find any posts which you haven't read.

Using the search facility helps, but it will not be obvious to a newbie which words to use. We know on this forum that things change. This week we call Sky's basic 40/2 FTTC product SFU, yet we were calling it SBUF. These are the product names that Sky uses. A newbie would be totally lost and not recognise the significance.

So sorry, the support in Sky's forum needs to wake up to the real world.

There is a way around that and it involves changing a setting in your "My Settings" > Preferences > General. I can't remember which one it is but you should be able to sort it with a bit of trial and error.

      Scubbie,
To be honest it would be better if sky paid them on the number of questions answered and problems resolved, That way they would have to do something and not just give the stock reply " Sorry we have no information on that "
