Sky Go For Android Coming To The Following Soon

We have know for a week or so that Sky GO was coming to the following phones etc

      Galaxy Nexus
      HTC ONE S
      HTC ONE X
      Samsung Galaxy Note
      Sony Xperia S

However now that someone else has released the news we may as well do the same.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Note Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade had been delayed until Q2, but as we are now in Q2 we may well see this very soon.

We were also told that was happening as well, along with the Sky Go streams being updated, for better quality screening on your device.

Re: Sky Go For Android Coming To The Following Soon

My Galaxy S2 had Gingerbread OS on it. Following the update the other week, I now have Ice Cream.

Don't they come up with interesting names for Android OSes?

Re: Sky Go For Android Coming To The Following Soon

      Scubbie,
Sky Go now works on stock ICS for S2 & HTC phones, a lot of peeps are reporting this on the forum I'm banned from, so I tried it and aye tis true D/L sky go version 1.1 from the market and it works. Now having said that for some silly stupid thing Sky Advisors on there are still giving out the stock answers:-

      on 30-04-2012 07:44 AM

At the moment Sky Go is not supported on ICS, as soon as its available we will let everyone know.

      Cheers

Re: Sky Go For Android Coming To The Following Soon

      Thanks Paul. Installed and working.

Nice to note that they have been bothered to respond to the thread which I was subscribed to, which had the question asked about supporting the Samsung S2, not.

      Scubbie,
Here's a good 1 for you they are still saying ICS is not supported and they don't know when and have asked people not to report that sky go works on ICS phones
Also they are trying to remove this link if it gets posted:-
