      Crazy problems!!

      Hi guys

Desktop PC windows xp pro x64

I really hope somebody can give me a clue with this because Im baffled

Earlier I tried to use the skygo player and all seemed fine but as soon as I tried to watch in full screen mode it just closes down/crashes?? If I use the pop out window it works till I try to switch to full screen..tried different browsers (mainly in case i needed to restart firefox browser).. no joy Although bbc itv channel 5 etc etc those players worked fine in full screen

I then went to main help forums Sky Help Forum - Help & Support from the Official Sky Forum - Help & Support from the Official Sky Forum and went to skygo section. now although I could answer questions and vote etc etc

there was no icon/tab/button etc to allow me to make a new thread?? :EDIT this second issue now appears to be working again..strange..but it is the first issue that I really need a solution for

      please if you can help

      Re: Crazy problems!!

I have just downloaded Mad Men ep. 2 to check this and it displays just fine in full screen mode on my laptop.

Could I ask that you check that you have all the current M$ updates installed? Also check your manufacturer websites for any hardware driver updates too, particuarly any for the display.

This laptop has Win 7 Home Premium. The display works at up to 1366x768.

      Re: Crazy problems!!

Hey thank you for such a quick reply

It's working again now not sure but it looks like when I went to update my display drivers at the nvidia site, they were up to date but some motherboard drivers were not (nForce4 4X) installed these just because they were newer expecting nothing then after restart problem was gone.Hopefully this post may help somebody else

      thx

      No problem.

I'm glad that the issue is resolved. I misread the Windows version initially, but driver updates are a common issue (good and bad).
