Main sky account holder does not have or want internet access. Please help

i hope someone can help with this.

My dad has a full sky account but being 70 does not have any need nor plans to use the Internet in any shape or form, including the use of email. he does not want to change the way he manages his account in anyway.

I am losing out as I want to use sky go when at work and travelling on my phone.

He is prepared to allow me to sign him up a skyid by setting him up an email address but only if this is solely used for the sky go functions only.

Will doing this cause any problems with his billing? Will there be any expectation of transferring his billing services and managing it all online. this would confuse him and cause problems.

Basically if there is any change to his service and he will not agree to having a sky id.

can anyone give me any advice. I need F1!!!!!

Sky Go is free, provided that you do not download any Sky box Office content. This is clearly identified with the associated charge.

You don't need to use Sky Go on Sky Broadband.

All you need to use Sky Go is a active tv subscription, no internet access from Sky is needed.

Thank you, that confirms some of what I know.

Can anyone tell me what the main account holder sees? If I start up an email address for my dad will he need to access it for anything at all apart from me registering the sky go devices?

There is no need to use the email at all. Just watch out when you are registering and be careful you do not miss an option to have/not have paper accounts. Sky are keen to get everyone off paper so it is probably an opt out if you don't want to use an on line account.
