Yes but Android are soon to release Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and when it launches, the Sky Go app will not be compatible with it. So, until Sky make it compatible (and at the moment it isn't), then any customer who does update to this new software will lose the ability to watch Sky Go.

      Fun eh!

Re: Sky Go Android now on Goole Apps Store

Under Android 4 (ICS) the Market App doesn't even offer Sky Go as an option. However in support of Sky many other apps aren't available for the latest Android 4 OS (Ice Cream Sandwich). For example the BBC iPlayer app fails as does the ITV Player app.

If you are slightly off the pace with Android Honeycomb 3.2 then all is well! Expect a longish wait until the Media companies catch up with the technology.

Doesn't work with rooted phones or tablets either.

It's not available for the Galaxy Nexus (ICS), but then Iplayer wasn't either until a few weeks ago. So hopefully Sky will have it working for ICS soon.

Re: Sky Go Android now on Goole Apps Store

Don't count on having Sky Go working with ICS or Tablets or more phones anytime soon as Sky have already said that when ICS is released it will look at supporting it maybe. Tablets Sky have said maybe some time in the future they will look again at supporting it but as it's market is only 6% they have made no promises. Other phone make's maybe in the future. Rooted and Jailbroken devices Sky have blocked, but that has now been sorted out by other people the same with a lot more phone make's as well as ICS and Tablet's are not far off, but alas none are from Sky lol
