Re: SKY Go and the Android market
It is coming. Due to the fragmentation of the Android Operating System, and the varying levels of hardware that run Android it has become quite a bit more difficult for them to develop a stable release that will support the majority of Android powered devices.
There is also the conversion of the content to a format that will work on Android, but doesn't clash with Apple. Apple use one format which would work on Android, but I'm sure they'd get pissy if it was also used for Android and they would more than likely sue Sky. Apple are a bit childish that way.
Personally I told them to limit the OS level to Gingerbread and above, and to set a minimum hardware level i.e. HTC Desire level or above. That way they can get it on a good chunk of hardware, then work backwards if they want.
It is coming though. They did release a version to the Android Market, which was up for less than a day and if someone still has it it won't work.
