Mine is working too, but apparently they are withdrawing it soon.

Some people already seem to have had it disabled.

Re: Sky Player and Windows Media Center

Whats the thinking about this situation, not make sense to me or is it that sky want to push their Sky Anytime + product????????????. If that's the case then I think maybe they will miss out as you can't have Sky Anytime+ unless you have Sky BB. That would be silly for me as Sky can't give me the speed to use it so it be a waste of time.

Re: Sky Player and Windows Media Center

You'll still be able to use Sky Player on the Xbox, if you pay for it or you can download the free Desktop application and use that.

Sky Player will stream some live content and does not have access to the same large collection that Anytime+ does.

Re: Sky Player and Windows Media Center

There's those magic words Sky Player on the Xbox, if you pay for it Not a problem here I must be 1 of the few home's in the UK that have not got an Xbox/PS etc. I've never had any joy with the Sky desktop. I like it in WMC as I can watch sport on it and That's all I really use it for, Ah well have to use it on my laptop then via the browser so I can have full screen option. As I've said Scubbie can't get anytime+.

Re: Sky Player and Windows Media Center

I too don't have an Xbox, but may consider one at a later date. I detest the thought of having to pay to use the service though.

The desktop version of Sky Player did work well on my Laptop last time I used it. The main issues seem to be related to registry cleaners such as CCleaner. You must stop them from cleaning the setting for Silverlight.

I uninstalled Sky Player in favour of using WMC after the last M$ Windows changes went through and got it working.
