      Aren't Sky aware that...

      Not everyone uses Windows and there are people who use an OS called Linux? (I think Mac has Silverlight)

      Why do they use Silverlight? I thought Flash was bloated, but Silverlight is something else...

      It would not be cost effective to develop an alternative program for the limited number of people who use Linux as their main OS. This is the same for lots of programs, not just Sky Player, so why are you making a big deal. Not to be blunt, but surely you are used to it by now

      To be honest, its lucky that it works for Mac.

      Besides, the overall percentage of people who use Linux is less than 5%,as compared to 90% windows. Is it really worthwhile?

      I hate to say it but from a developer perspective silverlight is amazing.
      Its far faster then flash, more secure and almost has feature parity with flash.
