      Sky Player

      Hi,
OK it looks like sky player has had an upgrade, Now when I try to watch it in Win7 Media Center it crashes. When I try on the web site, I can log in but when I try to watch anything I get back that my PC is not Registered and it takes me to the Device Management page where it tells me that my PC is not Registered,in fact it tells me that there are nothing Registered, and as I changed my PC this month I have to remove 1 of the 4 that are Registered to be able to use sky player but as there are none there how can I remove 1 .
      Any idea anyone???????????
      cheers
      paul

      Re: Sky Player

I just managed to get the thing working just after easter after months of it not working and the exact same thing has happened.

Sky and Microsoft aren't working particulary well over this.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

      Re: Sky Player

Same problem here - I removed the two computers I had registered then went to Live TV and it registered this computer as my main computer (with the same alias as before), so it seems to be ok now.

Yep it looks like a redesign but for some reason now My Media Center will not run it and keeps crashing. Odd thing is that media center on my lap top works great, pass on that 1 as both are running Windows 7. R well such is life

      Re: Sky Player

The new site works Ok for me and I can view the channels I am supposed to but my computer is no longer registered as the main one and I can't change it as apparently I have already made a change within the last month when I know that I haven't.

      Re: Sky Player

Nah can't be brothered to ring them as I don't think my issue is likes yours as my main computer was listed twice for some reason but one of them had a slightly different name/ID attached to it and that one was registered as the main computer, I have now deleted this 'other' computer and will check back every so often to attempt to get this sorted by registered this computer again.

      Re: Sky Player

I've got the same problem. One PC listed twice, but not registered!?!?
My Xbox is still on the list and works fine, but i've deleted both PCs (even though it's only one), and will keep trying to see if it'll re-register over the next few weeks!
