Connecting Sky Player to an HDTV

Does anyone know if Sky Player can be connected & watched through an HDTV?

I'm moving into a flat soon but am not allowed a Sky dish. I have been looking at my options & Sky Player seems to be the best. I'd really like to be able to watch the sport etc on my HDTV & was wondering if anyone knows of a way to connect a laptop to a TV? Does anyone know what sort of quality the picture would be?

      Thanks

Re: Connecting Sky Player to an HDTV

Depending on the TV connections, you can connect via VGA cable or HDMI.
