Completely down at my end as well.

      Service Unavailable - DNS failure
The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later.

      Reference #11.5a0dd58.1256756846.0

Looks like the Xbox service has hammered it.

It would appear that the Sky Player website is back up now.

Re: Sky Player - DNS failure

It is typical that they screw this up, I wanted to watch the nice ole match and typically enough microsoft come along to screw things up.

The skyplayer should at least work online!!!

      Bloody annoying.

I'm guessing that it's all linked to the xbox player - the server just can't handle the demand

Re: Sky Player - DNS failure

i'm not too sure there is anything that we can do except wait until the servers are sorted out. if this is the problem. but i'm not an expert so any other suggestions would be welcome

Re: Sky Player - DNS failure

Given that connect has been a problem for a year and Sky hasn't done anything to resolve that lack of bandwidth problem I geuss then that is the sort of timescale we'll be looking at tgetting the sky player working again.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
