    Delivery Manager problem

      Delivery Manager problem

      Just from this weekend, and after months of using Skyplayer thout hassle, I've encountered a major problem. I log in to Skyplayer as normal and choose a programme to watch but then get the following messages
      "Script Error" and
      "Delivery Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
      Skyplayer then closes down completely.
      I've done a complete uninstall and reinstall of the Sky and Kontiki programmes using Kclean and have also run Ccleaner, but still this continues. Any help and ideas would be really, really appreciated!

      When this sort of thing happens, I tend to think to myself "What's changed?"

      1. Has something changed at their end of the business?
      Maybe, but the only way to know for sure is if loads of people are suddenly reporting the same problem.

      2. Has something changed on your computer?
      Have you installed any new software between the time when you last successfully used SkyPlayer and this weekend? If so, whatever it was has probably caused the adverse impact on SkyPlayer.

      Thanks for that, speedyrite. I had the same kind of idea. There has definitely been at least a small change at the Sky end of things in the last week as the log-in pages and individual programme pages have changed in design. It's possible that there's also been a software update which has caused my problem. As you write, if other people are also experiencing the problem then Sky might be moved to sort it out sooner or later

      I haven't made any change to my OS in the last week. I did a large defragmentation but I can't see how that would affect Kontiki. Since getting the Delivery Manager problem I've done a System Restore to before my last "good" Skyplayer log in date but that hasn't solved the problem

      If anyone reading this has ideas how to solve the problem, please, please post a reply

      Sounds most likely to be something has changed at the Sky end then, unless it's just a temporary glitch. I can't check for you, as I'm a Mac user so I can only use the streaming service via the Sky Player website. Keep a look out here and on DS for other posters with the same problem!

      check out the post that says script error it says goin to internet options go to advance and scrolldown to debugging script try see if it helps

      Problem Solved! Right click on Silverlight when open, go to Application Storage and make sure that the little Enable Application Storage box is ticked. Hurray

      Enable Application Storage IS checked & was working fine yesterday but getting the problem today. Anyone got any other ideas please?
