Your friend has to ring sky and tell them he has installed the software on a new pc as the system will see 2 computers with the software on and it's only meant to be on one pc per account.

What if he says that he is having some personal problems and has moved in with a friend even though he is still paying the monthly sky bills but wants to watch it online here?

It doesn't matter which way you put it, if you are trying to get around the T&C's by subverting the truth you are breaking them and you know it and will be guilty of it.

That doesn't mean you cannot do it but don't kid yourself that it is ok with Sky.

He did that and I now have it..Thanks.

One question, when I watch it on high quality the picture is mint but sometimes freezes for a second.I have noticed the in high quality my cpu is hitting the 90 mark and memory is 146,356 k.

I have to watch it in low quality and alls good.

I have 2 gig of memory.Do I need more memory or a better processor so I can watch it in high quality?

My internet connection is virgin through the phoneline as there are no cable pipelines where I live.

If you are streaming, it is more likely to be your connection that is too slow.

Re: Using someone elses Skyplayer account ?

I logged on to my account via the web browser at work today (not the PC skyanytime is installed on) just to see if i could view sky sports. And i could.

      Is that against T&C?

Is the idea of the web based player to allow just that?

      Will I get charged??

You can (and are allowed to) log in through the browser on any PC, I think you can only watch content on one at a time though.

It's only the installed application that's limited to one PC.

i am still a bit confused about watching live games through the browser.you are only allowed to watch from one pc which is registered if i login to sky.com at work click on sky player login using my username and password i can acess the same content i have at home. even though i have not down loaded any soft ware or sky player to my work pc my pc will pick up sky player content. thanks in advance
