      New flash player

When did Sky Player adopt a new Flash based player for the streaming? It's terrible, the image quality seems much lower, and I can't watch full screen on my dual monitor. Every time I do anything on the other monitor it flicks back to a small window again.

It's so frustrating, the old media player streaming was perfect for me!

Do you mean the Microsoft Silverlight 2.0?

Umm, I dunno, it looks and acts just like a flash player to me.

If you mean watching Sky Player through a browser, it uses Silverlight now. The quality is acceptable in the standard view, but definitely I agree about the resizing.

Err, I'm using the Sky player application that you have to install, is that what you mean by a browser? Why did they change to this inferior Silverlight technology? .... (whatever that is!) Before streaming was great at full screen, now it doesn't work, seems like a big step backwards to me!

Sorry I thought you meant watching through IE or Firefox type browser, as in Live Sky Player. Not got the application installed So I don't know.

      Re: New flash player

They both load the same pages.

So the Sky Player Application uses Silverlight as well.
I found it being an improvement (especially in standard size) you do know there is an image quality setting on the bar that appears? Try changing that.

Although, it does blur when run at full screen, but it works fine for me.
Just has trouble when it comes to changing channel.

Wish there were more channels as well.
