The default download folder is listed in the accounts/settings menu, you need to look a bit harder.

Re: Where does the Download go on a PC?

I have an unresponsive player even after uninstall reinstall so I cannot get as far as looking at settigs etc. My conclusion was that my download(s) had somehow corrupted the functionality of sky plauer so I want to delete them, they won't go using the normal delete fuction player just locks out. same when I seek default locale so could you answer the question instead of carrying out a dick measurinhg contest?

Re: Where does the Download go on a PC?

Following on to the post "The default download folder is listed in the accounts/settings menu, you need to look a bit harder"
I may be a bit dim, but I cant find accounts/settings menu
In the sky player desktop the only clickable links at the top (right) are... my downloads (list the downloads), open website, help and sign in/out

Also, "you need to look a bit harder" isn't very helpful to someone struggling, I personally (through reasons of disability) struggle enough with thing others take for granted, its not easy to type the letters (shown in a scued image) for verification purposes with reduced eyesight or many other problems the average person has no idea about.

Re: Where does the Download go on a PC?

I recently commented on a post on the Sky Help Forum where someone wanted to change the location of their default folder.

Apparently the location is buried within the 'My Documents' folder for Sky Player.

My suggestion was to use 'TweakUI' as the poster has Windows XP. This allowed him to move his whole 'My Documents' folder to a 2nd drive, including the storage folder for the Sky Player.

Since Sky Player is due to be replaced early next month, I wouldn't now worry about things too much for the moment. It is likely that it will all change.

If you have a specific issue over the contents of the folder, then please post your enquiry.
