have you looked in the startup folder, click on start, all programs, startup, if its in there just right click and delete... it might be there

Hi, just looked in there, and the Startup is Empty. Its got me really baffled.

Years ago, I used to have this little free program, that was called Startup, and it listed all the prgrams in the Task Manager, it was really easy to use, (which is what I need) and you could stop any programs from Starting up when the computer boots, but it stopped working on XP. Does anybody know of a program that is similar to that one?

Hi Thanks for your message. I just went in to look, and there's nothing in there that I recognise for Sky. I dont understand it. They upgraded it from the last time I used it, and this has only happened since the upgrade. There used to be an option to stop it from loading when windows did, but that option has now dissappeared.

Re: Sky Anytime in System Tray....

well, unfortunately, that didnt help at all. It seems its not even in the start up. It just seems to be there, but not there. Funny though, that only has about 10 programs showing as running. In my Task Manager, there are a lot more, so that's not recognising a lot of the programs. I'm wonderiung if it might be worth deleting the Sky Anytime program, then reinstalling it, to see if that makes any difference.

Re: Sky Anytime in System Tray....

I just called the CS for Sky Anytime, and they didnt have a clue. So I got them to talk me through uninstalling it, to discover that's changed as well. You used to have to go through all this process of uninstalling Kontiki, but they dont do that any more, you just install from the Control Panel.

So I uninstalled, the reinstalled, and its exactly the same. It comes up in the System Tray on starting the pc. I've never come across this before with a program. Really odd.
