I really never understood this, it isn't just sky doing these things mobile companies do it as well. they rather want new customers (not knowing if it will be a good or bad payer) than trustful ones who have paid them for years.
I certainly would praise loyal customers before giving things away to unknown people. But anyway they must know what they are doing... or not?

I'm another loyal sky+ customer, who received the "you've been with us since the begining" letter and would like to let you buy a sky + hd box for £199 so you can enjoy the benefit of Sky Anytime - weyhey. Just a shame I don't have an HD tv, nor do I want to pay the extra £10 a month to watch HD.
So what else can I get - a sky+ box for £99 - which everybody else can get anyway. Maybe one day sky will understand how to truly reward loyal customers - but this is not the way.

Totally agree with you mate. I have had a sky+box for 3 years now and it does seem a case of discrimination that us folks who have helped to make the brand what it is today by championing its use as the best PVR , are now being penalised at the expense of other people who have jumped on the bandwagon at a later date. Come on Sky what price loyalty, wheres our free upgrade???????
