Its not showing Anytime on the planner yet, anyone know how often they download the upgrade, or when they might get a round tuit?

Sky Anytime where you download Movies etc if that is what you mean is a PC based system at present and dosen't operate on the Sky+ box, SKy+ only does recording/timeshifting of off air programs and box office films. If think there are plans in the future for Sky box's to be linked direct to the internet but no idea when theat might be happening.

Or have I been confused by your question.

Re: New Sky+ no Anytime yet?

Koala5, Sky Anytime is now available on Sky HD, Sky+ (Newer Boxes) and on Broadband - Its a new feature for the STB where content is automatically downloaded and stored and is available to keep or deleted after a certain date. See- What is Sky Anytime on TV?

Penrhyn, It can take anything from the first night till 5 days, Just leave it on and kept plugged in to the BT socket apparantly that speeds it up.

Yeah it only works on PVR3 boxes and some PVR1 + 2 boxes that have been refurbed and updated.

It will take a week or two before they start downloading to you. and keeping it connected to the BT socket wont speed anything up as the content is downloaded through the satelite signal. It is also updated normally on a 7 to 10 day rota.

The reason its on the newer Sky + boxes is because the newer boxes have a 160 gig drive,
( classed as an 80/80 ) half of which YOU use to save programs and half which Sky use to download content you may want to view. You wont have any say in what is downloaded so expect a varied content.
