Re: email problems
On a related topic, and I am not sure which worked either lateral thinking or perseverance, however I can now log in to Sky.com.
Let me explain; After initially downloading Sky anytime for Broadband and finding that somewhat wanting I un-installed it.
Please be aware the sequence may not be quite right, whatever, after singing up for Sky Broadband I then received another three passwords, one blank, for the Broadband portal etc, after already choosing one for Sky anytime, hang in there, we will get there.
Ok, so I now have Broadband Max, works great no problems, since, September or October, I forget, anyway, lots faster than my previous ISP, e7even and half the price, and still I cannot get into the silly Sky Broadband portal with any password. Nor can I access any Sky.com portal whatever I try, changing passwords or whatever. Almost there.
So, today I ring concerning an upgrade for my daughter, 'Recommend a friend' and I informed the helpful guy that I could not log on to Sky.com to do so online.
Now the good bit, he gave me a number for Sky.com 08706 091357, which I duly rang and after some initial problems re changing the password online with a very helpful lady I can now state that I can log onto the Sky.com, Sky Broadband and so forth with no problems.
Success after many many attempts.
I am not sure if this will help anyone else, though please pass the information onto anyone who may need it.
Regards to all and keep up the high quality of the site
