Sky told me (finally) back at the beginning of September that they have no intention of setting up an SMTP server. The only email service they offer is webmail, (hence their service is free spose). In other words, we will never be able to send emails from Outlook etc as there will not ever be a mail delivery transport carrier.

Nothwithstanding all of that, the DSL service is really fast and I have never had any probs with reboots and passwords and whatnot. I have 2 machines connected wirelessly. I did the install myself, which was dead easy using Speedtouch software only, not the stuff that comes with the router.

(SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. It is used by your mail client to send the e-mail that you compose. Courtesy of Bill's team)

Ooh, is that the time already, time for 'a little something'
