Don't say that. Now I feel like the lamb that spotted a pot of mint sauce---very worried.

I suppose I will find out after Wednesday!

      Email

I've been connected but I can't get e-mail. I've tried using the instructions to configure Outlook and I can send but not receive. Kepp getting the message ...the server did not accept your user name or password. I've double checked the details but they are fine. I've complained to Sky but they say they don't support outlook and they won't look into the problem as they say it takes up to 14 days after activation for full access - see the following:

      Hi Christine

Firstly, please allow me this opportunity to apologise for the difficulties you have experienced.

Please be advised that once your line has been activated to receive Sky broadband we do require authentication from BT before the full service is made available, however in the meantime you should be able to access your email through your email client such as outlook or
      outlook express.

I hope this information is helpful, if you find that you are still unable to access your emails, please let us know and we will endeavour to assist you further.

      Regards
      Gay [/FONT]

Do you have to be at home using Sky BB and Outlook to send and recieve on Sky Email?

I say this as when I am at home I can send and recieve no problem using my laptop.

But when at work on a BT BB connection the same settings refuse to let me recieve I get an error that it can not connect to the server.

I just find it odd, not that anyone knows my Sky Email address anyway mainly because of this problem, but it should work no matter where I am shouldn't it???

      Thanks fo any advice,

      Paul.
