Using outlook 2002
Can anyone help to get this working. Have put all info in but wont log onto pop3 server. Finds both pop3 and smtp ok just fails to logon and send test message. I used same setting i used when i was with bt albeit substituting skys servers for bt's but nothing seems to work.
Any help most appreciated. Also tried with outlook distress 6 no joy with that either.

Quick search suggests this
Within Outlook, please ensure that you have these settings:
-Incoming Server authentication turned OFF
-Outgoing Server authentication turned ON~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Are you trying to setup for your SKY address or your BT one?

What I suggest you do is add a new E mail account (rather than edit your existing one). If this new account works, delete the old one(s).
Unlike BT, Sky SMTP does not require authentication.Service recovery 02392 899292
