Have set accounts up according to information on tutorials for both outlook distress and outlook 2002 and i appear to get if not the same then very similar error messages on both programs, but i do appreciate all the comments and assistance i am getting.

Are you using the Sky email address? or another one?

If other ones, just try changing the smtp to smtp.sky.com and leave the pop as it was?
