      I'll keep an eye out for that and post another Skyuser link over on Digital Spy to help their members out.

      Hopefully these "helpful" Skyuser links I've been leaving on other forums (where appropriate and relevant) must have yielded us some more members?

      Yep, keep them coming.

      I have a feeling we are gonna be producing some kind of statistics page for here so we can show the traffic etc.

      As for members we now have 116 which is awesome

      @Newsreader

      So can you 100% confirm that I will be able to send mail from my 3 non sky Thunderbird accounts using these settings?

      Thanks!

      (If so its just VPN issues i have before ordering)

      vpn i should'nt think it would be a problem, as the rules for allowing it are preconfigured within the router, they just need enabling

      So can you 100% confirm that I will be able to send mail from my 3 non sky Thunderbird accounts using these settings?
      until we do some testing (i will ask Ratti3) then i would not commit 100% but i am sure hopefully it will work :-) watch this thread for confirmation

      @charltonfan1

      What do you exactly mean when you say "So can you 100% confirm that I will be able to send mail from my 3 non sky Thunderbird accounts using these settings?"

      Do you mean you currently have 3 other accounts setup in a mail client that use their own SMTP servers and you would like to continue to use these settings?

      Or do you mean mail.sky.com / pop.sky.com, will they work?

      I currently use my ISP's SMTP server to send emails from 3 different email accounts from my PC at home.

      Will the sky mail and pop settings be able to do the same

      From what you have written above I'm guessing that you use different smtp's which are not part of your ISP smtp on your existing connection.

      If thats the case then there should be no problem.

      Sorry i musn't be explaining myself very well.

      I have an fmail account, aol account and a university email account.

      They all have different incoming mail servers, but i use my ISP's (prodigynet) outgoing mail server to send emails from all 3 accounts.

      If i joined sky BB, would i be able to use their SMTP server in the same way?

      Thanks
