Please contact 03442411280 for further assistance "
Result: They cannot sort it
Result: One useless defunt Email which I have had for years.
However the email address does let me go into my account and check Bill's etc.

Gmail is a better service.

Agreed Gmail is better and used to be the power behind Sky email. I guess Yahoo mail must be cheaper as I can see no other possible explanation for switching to an inferior product.
You could always get a Gmail account but it would mean getting a new email address which might not be such a bad idea, at least it would cut down on Spam.
If the only way you have tried to access your Sky (Yahoo) email account is through your Sky account on the web you could try using another email client such as Thunderbird. Details for setting up this, or other email clients, can be found in the help section on the Sky website:

under yahoo security measures the sky e-mail account has to linked to a non sky email account ex gmail or hotmail as now needs to verified . if this the case logged into account and check this up under my details add the other account which will send you a verification email to non sky email and ask you accept yahoo terms of agreement
