SMTP timeouts
For the last few days I've been almost unable to send emails from Thunderbird on my PC. Either the "send" gets as far as "Connected to smtp.tools.sky.com", then just hangs until it either times out, or I get a "retry with new password?" message. Anyone know what's going on/have any ideas?
(Whilst it's obviously harder to be sure, and I can't swear to it, inbound mail seems unaffected.)

I've been experiencing the same problem using Windows Live Mail. Surely someone has some advise other than to swap to gmail?

Looks like a lot are suffering this problem and it looks like sky are working with Yahoo to fix according to this post in the sky community forum;

Getting it all the time on PC (Outlook) plus iPad and iPhone. Fed up with having to input the PW only to be immediately required to do it all over again ................ and again.............and again!
