Possible Solution to portal log in failures

Hi Everyone.

Like many i was unable to log on to the portal. to reslove what i did was log onto:

http://www.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/home
(click on the login link on the right hand side)

You should be able to log into that using the username and password that sky sent you. After you have done that wait for few mins and the go to:

http://www.skybroadband.com/portal/site/skybb

And log in. it should work fine.

I set up a new account last night and it was the first time I had used the portal since my first day and I managed to get logged in straight away and had the account up and running in minutes. It was definitely better and faster than when I first used it.

looks like this could be a "fix" 2 out of 2 so far. maybe a mod can sticky it?

Edit : Doesnt Load on FireFox, But OK on Internet Explorer for Me!

Both sites load fine for me on Firefox.

where are you trying to access the portal from? using your sky's connection? i hear the portal was down for a bit, could be that.
