      Outlook constantly asking for email password

      Hi all,

      This week has seen some issues with sky on outlook.

      I have a few sky email accounts and they have worked fine until this week I sporadicly get the accounts asking for the password.

      Even when you reconfirm the password and ccick 'save' it then asks again some time later.

      The password is right and clicking ok then accepts and gets emails. On subsiquent send/receives it then asks again. Really frustrating

      There have been a few reported issues recently with some Sky email accounts.

      It sounds like you are experiencing one of them.

      Sky are working to resolve the issues.

      Yep mines doing that this weekend. Seriously considering ditching Sky email now! Especially as some important documents that I sent to my insurance company disappeared into thin air the other week, even after a second attempt.
      I ended up having to send them via hotmail.

      The documents were showing as sent and visible in my sent items folder on outlook. But when I logged into yahoo mail on the website they were nowhere to be seen, not in the sent items or anywhere else!

      If you send an email via a client they are not normally kept in your on-line account.

      The exceptions to this are gmail and hotmail.

      Mmmm pee'd me right off because it was proof of no claims etc and the insurance company were getting shirty!
      It was weird, when I sent a test email to a friend with no attachments it appeared in the yahoo website sent box. The insurance company were insistent that they had not received any docs but as soon as I sent them via hotmail they got them straight away!

      With all the new changes with everything being accessible by the Police now, Insurance companies are getting tough with proof of NCB.

      A friend sent hers in via fax and post and her Insurance Company denied receiving it. Eventually they cancelled without telling her. The Police pulled her over and it went to court. Since she'd been paying correctly and she could prove it my friend won and was compensated by the Insurance Company.

      Basically I would send proof of NCB via Registered Delivery and keep the receipt. After a few days check it has arrived and print off the page.

      We'll they are now saying they have got it, when I sent it via Hotmail, I will give it a week and check with them again. The car is showing as insured on the askmid website, national database

      Same issue with my Gmail account so it might not just be sky

      Looking at the Sky boards, there does seem to be a few issues, but some members are reporting them resolved.

      Can I ask that you double check the settings in Outlook to ensure that it is correctly configured?
