Re: Yahoo Mail Issue Surprise Surprise !!!!!!
Loads of complaints on the official sky forum about this. Best advice dump it and use Gmail or Outlook.com instead.

Re: Yahoo Mail Issue Surprise Surprise !!!!!!
I get variable results with my Yahoo accounts.
I can send from them, but currently can't receive any emails on my laptop from them using my client.
My phone can access the accounts, even when it is connected via my router.
This leads me to believe that Yahoo! is the problem. They have been putting in lots of extra security checks and this is messing me up.

I think I may have resolved this pesky issue.
It looks like the POP3 UK server is down.
Change the incoming server to ' pop.mail.yahoo.com ' and all appears to work.

Re: Yahoo Mail Issue Surprise Surprise !!!!!!
Its not only Skyhoo that is having problems. I have a friend with BT who has had nothing but problems with here mail. I have advised her to blackhole her BT Yahoo accounts and use Gmail instead. She was recently a victim of one of those " I am stranded in Ukraine and need help" scams, which might have worked if they had said Australia as she spend half the year there. The sender used a Gmail account with her name with a number after it, very similar to her actual Gmail address.
