Anyone know if this is spam please
Hi all
I keep my Sky email addy but route emails to another account, I have received an email that does not have an attachment but looks odd.
It starts
Important Your Sky password - Sky in this email: Important: Your Sky password View email in browser Hello, Y
and thats as much as I can see.
Anyone know if this should go in the trash please?
Any help is always appreciated.

Re: Anyone know if this is spam please
I'm not sure what is happening there.
What I would suggest is that you navigate to the Sky site and log into your email account there.
Do not click any links to change your password or anything like that. However if your password is a 'simple' one (i.e. password123) I would recommend that you change it.

Re: Anyone know if this is spam please
I got one of those as well. Something about Adobe passwords and Sky asking people to change passwords?? No idea what is was all about so I deleted it.

Re: Anyone know if this is spam please
Ah! That puts it in a whole new light.
Adobe got hacked recently.
You MUST change any password on the Adobe account and if you use the same password on any other account (i.e. Facebook, SkyUser, Sky, PayPal, Amazon) change them too.
Also let your bank know as card details were also compromised.

Re: Anyone know if this is spam please
Just had a thought I have never bought anything from Adobe but I am assuming I must have given my email addy to download Adobe Reader does this make me less vunerable.
Thank you.

If you have never subscribed to Adobe, then you should be fine.
I have downloaded all their free software and will be fine too.
