      550 spf check failed [mail_from]

Hi, hope someone can help here.

I have been using IMAP and email alias (to my own domain) for some time on various devices without issue.

Just set up a couple of iPhones and we are now getting bounce backs (not on all mails) with 550 SPF check failures.

Not sure is the problem lies with the iPhone config or changes at Yahoo/Sky mail.

I do not get the problem when emailing from webmail (using my own domain as the send from address).

      Any help appreciated

      Regards,
      Kev

Sounds like the SPF records for your domain do not list the yahoo servers as being allowed to send email from your domain.

Although I have to ask, Why would you want to use your domain as an alias on your Sky/Yahoo account when the email/web host should be able to provide the settings you need to send/receive via a email client.

If It's powered by cpanel it's probably mail.yourdomain.com port 587 , authentication on
