No Spam folder within iPhones inbuilt mail client?
I'm receiving my emails on my iPhones inbuilt mail client via IMAP.
When Sky used Google I had a spam folder which I frequently checked just in case anything missed the net but after the change to yahoo there's no spam folder. I do however have a bulk mail folder which I thought could have been the spam folder but in two days I've yet to see it receive an email.
Anybody else have a spam folder?
When logging in via webmail there is a spam folder though.

Re: No Spam folder within iPhones inbuilt mail client?
You will see the Spam folder only when you use your browser to access your email.
If you do the following, it should pick up any potential spam emails and place 'SPAM' in the subject:
- Navigate to the Sky site
- Click the 'email' icon in the top right of the page
- Sign in to your account
- Hover over the spoked wheel on the top right of the screen and select 'Mail Options' from the drop down menu
- Click 'POP & Forwarding' from the menu on the left
- Click the radial button beside 'Access Sky Yahoo! Mail via POP'
- Select 'Download spam, but prefix the word "Spam"' from the drop down box just below the previous option
- Click the 'Save' button

Re: No Spam folder within iPhones inbuilt mail client?
Thanks Scubbie, I did exactly that this morning.
Strange that a spam folder isn't added within the iPhones email client but it's not a real problem I guess.

Re: No Spam folder within iPhones inbuilt mail client?
Odd, as I can see a junk mail folder on both my iPad and iPhone even though even have not received any messages in the junk folders yet.
I see:
Inbox
Drafts
Sent
Junk
Trash
(the same on both devices)
I'd set-up my Sky Email from scratch using the 'Add Account', then clicking the Yahoo! button but entering my Sky account details.

Re: No Spam folder within iPhones inbuilt mail client?
Thanks James, I used the Sky recommended setup which tells you to use 'other' instead of Yahoo mail option.
I'll try the Yahoo option and see how I get on with it, I can always revert back should there be an issue.
Set up an email account on an iPhone/iPad
On your iPhone or iPad, tap Settings followed by Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Add Account and then Other.
Tap Add Mail Account
On the next screen, fill in your Sky Email account details:
Name: Your name.
Email: Your full Sky Email address.
Password: The password you use to access your Sky Email account. Description: Your iPhone/iPad may automatically display “Sky” here, it is optional for you to change this.
On the next screen make sure that:
The IMAP tab is highlighted
Host Name is imap.tools.sky.com
Username is your full Sky Email address, including '@sky.com'
For Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), your Host Name is smtp.tools.sky.com
