      Archived mail

My contacts & inbox have successfully transferred to yahoo today, on all 3 of my accounts.
What i seem to be missing though is my archived mail.

This was previously accessible by clicking 'all mail' with skoogle but there is no 'all mail' tab, nor an 'archive' one either.

I wonder if i'll ever get these important emails?
I considered going back to skoogle & putting them into new folders, then hoping they'd transfer but i seem to be locked out as the standard gmail log in page doesn't recognise my details anymore.

Has anyone had their archived mail transfer over yet?

      Re: Archived mail

You should see a folder on the left under the trash one with all your previous folders and the archived mail should be in these. If it isn't there then it is still being moved over so give it a few more hours until midnight to finish.

      Re: Archived mail

      Under 'folders' i have:

      Inbox
      Drafts
      Sent
      Spam
      Trash

Then a dotted line & underneath:
      My Photos
      My Attachments

I have no 'previous folders' & hope you're correct, re: my patience.

Still missing my archived mail today, but just had a very swift response from a moderator on the sky forum stating that they should appear within the next 24 hours

      Re: Archived mail

Interesting, I was worried about the same thing so I set up a new gmail account and copied the entire contents of my Sky All Mail folder into that using IMAP on Thunderbird. Worked a treat, needless to say it hasn't found its way to Yahoo yet. It could be that this is a second stage process as this folder contains all email, not just archived mail, the mail in the folders which have come accross are copies so I would imagine there will be duplicates. Yahoo doesn't seem to have an archive function, so I suppose it'll mean setting up an archive folder

Yes, i expect it'll be ok.

Long before the switchover i was logging in to yahoo mail & noticed newly created folders named [gmail bin], so there is scope for that to happen.

      Re: Archived mail

I also have the same problem, I use archive mail (all mail) o store all the emails I want to keep. I was very happy with the google mail interfae that kept a copy of all mails in Allmail and deleted downloaded ones from the inmail folder only.

Hope we get the same archive facility.

I also haven't got my calendar across yet either.
