Forwarding Sky mail to Gmail after the change over

      Hi all

I have had a lot of help moving my emails from Sky to Gmail and although they are all not there I am sure in the next few days they will be.

To keep Sky mail forwarding to Gmail do I have to accept the move to Yahoo and will I be able to do this indefinitely so keeping my sky email addy but not viewing them on Sky?

      Thank you

      LL

You will need to accept the new T&Cs otherwise the Email account will be closed.

You will also need to sign in periodically to keep the account live. For Sky this is a 6 month period, not the usual 30 days for Yahoo!

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

Do we have a date that the switch over takes place or email accounts are closed if we don't agree to the terms?

Still not received an email informing me about this.
      Sky must really hate me!

Are you sure that you're not in the dog house?

If you are concerned, please click one of the links previously provided to see if the system shows that you have already accepted the new T&Cs.

      Alternatively try this link:

Scrolling down the page it say "3 weeks to go"

You are supposed to read the Yahoo conditions, then click if you agree. You will not get any acknowledgement that you have clicked. Just clicking means you have read the Terms and agree. If you don't click your Sky email will disappear 3 weeks from now with no chance of retrieving anything..

What is the exact final date?

I am leaning toward not going with Yahoo because of all the horror stories.

I might stick with Gmail though and open another account to use.

Just looked at the link and its April 4th.

I think you will find it is 3 months not 6 months, What you could do is sign into the account on the 1st of every month and as long as you do this the sky email account and your redirect will remain active.

Re: Forwarding Sky mail to Gmail after the change over

Sky has implemented their 180 day (i.e. 6 months, or just shy of) policy for their email. Section 4 of the original Sky Yahoo! Email policy was corrected to fall in line with their previous policy.

      Hi Scubbie

Many thanks for the reply. I will tidy up the last remaining emails and then I will have a clean playing field, then I will accept.

      Regards
