problems sending email
Hi
As of last night I have found it impossible to send emails. Is this something to do with the amount of space I have allocated on the server or my seetings which I don't believe have ben changed.
Kind regards

Re: problems sending email
Whatever the problem is it is nothing to do with the amount of space you have. What does actually happen when you try to send a email ?

Re: problems sending email
Hi
Thanks very much for your response. Firstly it takes an age to try and send. Secondy it comes up with the messgae that the outgoing smtp has reported an internal error. 555 Message rejected site policy does not accept empty subject field. However the subject field had been filled in. It would also appear that there are 2 microsoft outgoing server attempts. It is as if one works quickly and completes but the other takes and age and has the error message. Almost as if there is a "ghost" email trying to be sent without a subject box filled in.
Any ideas?
Thank you.Last edited by Sastel; 22-01-13 at 11:58 AM.

Re: problems sending email
Maybe a bit late, but given what you are reporting you should check if you have malware running on your PC. It is unlikely but possible you have some nasty secretly trying to send out emails. Run Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. Make sure both are fully updated before you run them.

SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition - CNET Download.com
