If Yahoo mail proves to be so bad then at the earliest opportunity I shall be looking to leave sky.

For me, a reliable good email service as part of my internet service is essential.

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

Why would you want to leave Sky based upon the quality their email?

There are plenty of free email services which are not tied to an ISP. This is a far better way to handle your email too IMHO. should you wish to change your ISP, then the email stays with you.

If you prefer gmail, navigate to their website and set yourself up an account, no one is stopping you. There is always M$'s offerings known as Hotmail, Livemail or MSN.

Same train of thought as scubbie I would never depend on an isps email

In fact I have never used my sky email address

To leave because of the changes is crazy if tour disagree with the t and cs just stop using the email

You have 4 months to make alternative arrangements

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

I have had a Gmail account for years and will probably move my main contacts to it when Sky move to Yahoo. Gmail have a very good anti spam system, which, judging by the amount of spam sent through them, I don't think Yahoo has.

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

I did read yesterday that Google are shutting down their sync/Exchange support from Jan next year, although, if you already have it, you can keep it for a while. Might affect some people possibly, though not sure how this will impact mobile users or Sky email users before March at all?

That's not good then, so push will disappear from exchange on iPhones ??
