      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

Yahoo does apparently support IMAP with desktop clients.

Having just set-up a Yahoo account I have on my Mac using Mac Mail, it is working as IMAP. Mac Mail and iPhones actually set up Yahoo.co.uk accounts using IMAP by default using just your email address and password.

Manual IMAP settings for Yahoo on other devices are as follows (from the Yahoo UK help pages):

When setting up IMAP, you will need the following settings:
      Incoming Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
      Outgoing Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
      Incoming Port: 993 (requires SSL)
      Outgoing Port: 465 (requires SSL/TLS)
Username: full email address (for example,bill@yahoo.com)
Password: the password you login to Yahoo! with.

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

I currently use the SKY email system to check some other email accounts I have, and pull the emails from those accounts. Any idea if the Yahoo mail version will be able to do this?

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

I have raised some questions with Sky over this important change and am waiting for some answers.

There is also time for Sky to get things such as an IMAP service enabled, but this is not a promise that they will.

Not tried it, but Mail Fetcher sounds like it should work.

After you have done that you can set up forwarding in your Sky email to send on everything that arrives to the new Gmail account.
