If you are sure that they are all to be deleted as a security precaution change your password then navigate to: Email Hosting Services | Pick Up Your Email | mail2web.com After logging in using your email address and new password the first page of messaged will be displayed at the bottom of which is a link "Delete all emails in this folder". Click this and wait. It may appear to freeze but it is deleting your mail. Provided the browser doesn't time out it will eventually load a page to confirm this. If it does time out reload and check how many messages you have. When finished you should reset your password. I have used this site on many occasions and have not noticed any increase in the spam I have received compared to email addresses where I haven't used this facility.

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

So I can run a filter on email already in the Yahoo folders? I thought they would only act on new incoming email.

I'll give it a go. Thanks

      EDIT:

Hmmm, I cant seem to find any way to run the filter on the imported emails Only on new incomming email.

@seawright, thanks for the suggestion, but it sounds a bit risky, and this is being used as a live email account, what if new email arrives whilst connected to mail2web.com?

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

I can't prove it but I believe it will only delete starting from the first email displayed. Least ways when I have used it I immediately check for new mail and have occasionally had one or two messages returned rather then being informed that my mail box is empty. So if you are going to use it I suggest checking the first page for any required messages before clicking delete.

      Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ

      Hi, Newbie here.
Can some kind soul help me out?
This question may be similar to post #123.

When I moved to Sky I managed to retain my old ***@bulldoghome.com e mail address.
I can't remember exactly how I did it, I think it was via Google mail.
I seem to remember there being a link on the Sky website to do it.

I am using Outlook 2007, with the following settings:
      Account type - POP3
      Incoming mail server - pop.bulldoghome.com
      Outgoing mail server - smtp.bulldoghome.com

Since the Yahoo change, I am recieving e mails, but can't send any. (using outlook)
I also tried sending an e mail from my Sky e mail address but it didn't work either I got a failure message in my bulldoghome Outlook e mail account.

      How can I fix this?
I am a bit of a novice, so a step by step guide would be appreciated, if thats possible.
      Thanks
      Dave

Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ - Correction to recent post waiting moderator

My 1st post is missing, so I will repeat it now.

When I moved to Sky I managed to keep my old bulldoghom.com e mail address using Outlook 2007.
I seem to remember setting this up via a link on the Sky website to google mail.

Since the Yahoo change I am recieving e mails in Outlook, but can't send any.
My Sky e mail address can both send and recieve e mails, ie works ok.

      My Outlook 2007 setting are:
      Account type - POP3
      Incoming mail server - pop.bulldoghome.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - smtp.bulldoghome.com

Can someone guide me on how to fix this, ie, be able to send e mails from my bulldoghome.com Outlook account.
      I would be very grateful.
      Thanks
      Dave

Re: Sky Yahoo! Mail FAQ - Correction to recent post waiting moderator

      Hi Moleman,
Thanks for trying to help, I followed the instructions to send e mails only (I can already recieve e mails), but unfortunately I still can't send e mails from my Outlook 2007 bulldoghome account?

I am still looking for help, hopefully someone can solve this problem.
      Thanks
      Dave
