      Getting mail to the correct Inbox

      Need a bit of help.
      I already have a couple of sky IMAP email addresses and I use Windows Live Mail as my client. At present mail arrives in the correct inbox.

      I have now set up a new gmail account which is for a voluntarty group that I hold a committee post for. Now my reason for setting up a separate gmail is so that if I hand over or share the duties I can pass on the account info to the new holder.

      incoming and outgoing servers were the standard servers.
      Set up worked fine as did tests to and from the account. However, when I sent a bulk email to my distribution list, gmail bounced all of them as it recognised it as spam.

      I changed the outgoing server to and tried the distribution again. Worked fine. No bounce. But when people are replying to me, even you the email is from the "" address, and the reply to address is the same, all replies are coming through to my main Sky personal account. Being IMAP, you can't set up rules as far as I can see so I can't do anything at the client end.

      I cannot work out why replies are going to the sky account.

      Anyone help ?

      Sorry for the longwinded post but thought best to set out everything I have done.

      There is a limit to how many emails can be sent in a single 24 hour period, which is why all those emails bounced back.

      By using the Sky email servers, the emails will have been given your personal email address to respond with. One way around this is to use the SkyUser email server, but this too will have a limit on how many emails can be sent in a single 24 hour period.

      An alternative would be to find a different free email server that does not require you going through either Sky servers.

      In the past I used to use Yahoo to send between 25 and 45 emails with a monthly newsletter attached to the larger number. You will need to check the terms & conditions of Yahoo to see if it is possible to send the number you wish in one go.

      Another way would be to set up a mail server for the group that you are working with. This would require more work though.

      Is there any particular reason you are using IMAP? If you don't have to sync to other devices, try using POP. You could also try using another email client for this account, that would keep them completely separate. Thunderbird is very good -
