password reset notifications?

Today I tried to login to my email but received error that my password was wrong. I double checked and it just would not accept it so I had to reset my password. It's abit worrying to me because, unfortunately, I'm having a hard time with an employee of sky at the moment so my paranoia makes me think he has got into my account. He is an official sky installation worker so I'm not even sure he could fiddle with my Email etc.

Sky doesn't seem to do Password Reset Notifications though so it makes it quite difficult to put my mind at rest. I've emailed them to see if they have a log for me to look at. I've ran every adaware and trojan scanner I have and I run avast on secure so I assume it's nothing like that.

Instead of receiving a notification url via e-mail, you can choose to reset it via your account details - try that.

My account details would be what he has used I assume. I'm more just wondering if their is a log of times the account has been used or password has been reset. Most sites send you an email of it.

It is often worth trying the 'unlock password' when a password is refused, as for some reason the system seems to 'forget' passwords.

I doubt very much a Sky installer would have access to your account details.

Thanks, puts my mind at ease somewhat to hear it.

I can get onto my email and things after I reset it myself. I just found it really odd that all of a sudden it wouldn't accept my password. Hopefully they keep a log of these things.

This happened to me last week.

All of our 3 email accounts refused to except passwords.

I left it an hour or so and it was all OK, strange thing, the wife's and my daughter all refused the passwords.

Didn't know about that, I think it was some sort of glitch.

Update,

There is log you can view. Log into your email and at the very bottom right there is 'details'. It will show every login to your email over the past days with IPs etc.
