Possible IE9 problem with sky email

I recently upgraded to IE9, proper release version.

Maybe a coincidence, but it seems since doing so when I log in to my email account on the sky web site, nothing happens if I click on the 'more' link which should give access to the spam folder which I check frequently. All the other clickable links seem to be working.

Has anybody else upgraded to IE9 and has this problem?

Gmail works fine but Sky mail won't open anything, wonder what they are doing within the page to cause that?

      Definitely an IE9 issue.

I just uninstalled going back to IE8 and all is well again.

Re: Possible IE9 problem with sky email

There does seem to be a problem within IE9 but there is a way around it.

      > Log into your account through IE9
      > Click the compatability mode icon (appears before the 'refresh' button next to where you enter the web url at the top of the screen. Highlights in a blue colour when clicked so you know its on.
      > Now try and open an email and should work ok.

Note: If you click the icon before logging into your mail account it does not seem to work.

Its a bit of a pain but we may have to do this until sky fix the webpage. I suspect its a gmail problem as sky seem to have an old version of gmail so it may be google who end up sorting it, and I doubt they're gonna rush as all works well in Chrome !

      Why blame Sky?

M$ is surely at fault. They keep rewriting HTTP, Java, PHP, etc. to suit their needs when these are standards set up by other people.

IE has never been a standard implementation of Internet protocols.
